Animated Droid Live Wallpaper.

Uses OpenGL (opengl) to display so make sure your device can use GL11 (Some older device may not work)

In this BRAND NEW VERSION you can start the app and animate the droid yourself, moving body legs head arms etc.. in a mini animation studio with keyframes and lots of other goodies..

Once you have set up some animations you can set certain actions to display your animation.. For Example: when you click on the top left it does a karate kick, and when you slide left its spins round like superman and fly's off

Plus you can change the texture of your droid and background simply select from the gallery.

Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat and VLC not working with Dreambox Streaming

Was disappointed today after updating to Ubuntu Maverick and finding out my Dreambox could no longer stream from my PC... wanna know how to fix it.. easy just install an older version of vlc.. but wait you cant  do that with apt-get you need to compile from source...

this should help..
sudo apt-get remove vlc

sudo apt-get purge vlc
sudo apt-get autoremove
sudo apt-get build-dep vlc
wget http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/vlc/1.0.6/vlc-1.0.6.tar.bz2
bunzip2 vlc-1.0.6.tar.bz2 
tar xf vlc-1.0.6.tar 
cd vlc-1.0.6/
./configure
make
sudo make install
sudo ldconfig

Back to working on Android..

Had to take a break from android for the last past weeks to earn some money.. Ill be finishing off the Brainy Cards and adding some more apps real soon

For example a HoloToy (iPhone) clone for android for use as a Live Wallpaper. At the moment I just need to get Gyro working correctly.

Grrr, device fragmentation

Problems with OpenGL, well my Live Wallpaper with the spinning droid just does not seem to be working correctly on some devices... if it looks like this (image to the right..)

Then something is wrong, I think its been fixed in the newest market version but I don't have all device to test on

This is what it should look like the Rusty/Green texture is supposed to show your androids battery level

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
